Delete your account

You can delete your Carva account and all of its cloud data yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to email anyone or wait for approval.

How to delete your account

1. Open Carva on your phone.
2. Go to Profile (the last tab).
3. Tap Account.
4. Choose Delete account and data.
5. Confirm when asked.

What is deleted

Your Carva account, and everything stored for it in the cloud: backed-up vehicles, trips, fuel and service records, expenses, documents, photos, and your memberships of any road trips or clubs.

The records held locally on your phone are removed when you delete the app, or you can clear them first from the same Account screen.

What may remain briefly

Messages you posted in a shared road-trip or club chat may remain visible to those members, since they are part of another person's conversation. Anonymous, de-identified contributions -- such as a fuel price you chose to contribute -- cannot be traced back to you and are not removed.

Routine backups may retain a copy for a short period before rotating out.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@getcarva.com from the address on your Carva account and we will action the deletion for you.
