Delete your account

Delete your account in the app

Open Carva, go to Profile → Account → Delete account, then confirm. If you signed in with email, Carva asks for your password once more. Deletion starts straight away.

No longer have the app?

Email privacy@getcarva.com from the email address on your Carva account, with “Account deletion request” in the subject. Carva verifies the request before deleting anything.

What is deleted

Your sign-in, your private cloud backups (vehicles, trips, fuel, service records, documents and photos), uploaded media, and your memberships in road trips, clubs and Family & Friends.

Records on a phone are removed when you delete the account in the app, or separately under Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my local data, or by uninstalling Carva.

What may remain briefly

Payment and purchase records that the law requires Carva to keep. Messages you sent in shared road trip or club chats may be removed or de-identified so they no longer identify you. Backup copies are removed when the backup rotation period ends.
